Airtronics Installation Practices
This video highlights some of the standard installation practices Airtronics techs utilize when installing new equipment in your home. We go above and beyond a standard installation and make sure your system is installed correctly the first time. Among other things, this video will show you the benefit to installing your system in a horizontal position versus the vertical position some companies prefer.
Importance of Air Filtration
Everyone wants the air they breathe to be clean and healthy. Having an air filtration system installed is a great way to acconplish this goal. The air filtration system is integrated into your ac system and provides a first line of defense against all types of allergens and pollutants.
Furnace Components Explained
This video identifies and explains certain components of the furnace in your attic.
Cleaning Condenser Coils
This video demonstrates the correct way to clean a spine-fin coil as recommended by the manufacturers. No caustic chemicals are used to clean spine-fin coils. A set of welding torches and some water to rinse the dirt off will do the trick.
High Efficiency VS Standard Efficiency
This video shows, in great detail, how much energy you can save by having a high efficiency system installed. Voltage meters are used to show you the exact difference in power usage for heating and cooling your home. You will be surprised how much money you can save by switching to a high efficiency system.
Coil Inspection Door Demonstration
Every system installed by Airtronics is fitted with a coil inspection door. The coil inspection door allows for a direct inspection of the evaporator coil and the air supply plenum that feeds the ducts air. It also allows technicians to clean the evaporator coil without tearing apart your syetem, saving you money and headaches. Most companies do not provide a coil inspection door.
Condenser Components Explained
In this brief video, components of the outdoor unit, the condenser, are identified and explained.
Attic Barrier Demonstration
This video demonstrates an attic barrier. Attic barriers form a seal around the attic door, therefore sealing your home off from any heat, dust or anything else coming from your attic. Attic barriers also assist in saving energy. They keep hot air from mixing with the cool air in your home, thus making your system more efficient.
Sealing the Blower Motor Compartment
When Airtronics installs a new system, we always seal the blower motor compartment. This prevents dirty or hot air from the attic entering your ventilation system and ultimately your lungs. Most AC companies do not seal the blower motor door.
Water Drainage System Explained
This video will help you identify and understand how the water drain system works in your home. A faulty drain system (usually resulting from improper installation) can become a HUGE financial nightmare. If your drain system fails, you could be left with thousands of dollars in damages.
Attic Ventilator Demonstration
This video will show you how an attic ventilator works to keep your attic as cool and clean as possible. This is yet another great tool to lower your monthly energy bill and improve the operating efficiency of your system.
Indentifying Cracks in Furnace
This video demonstrates how to identify cracks in your furnace. Furnace cracks are a huge issue, undermining the efficiency and air quality of your system. More importantly, they can lead to attic fires if left unchecked. Because they are so hard to find, many times they go un-diagnosed and cause extreme problems with the long-term health of your system.
Spine-Fin Coil vs Flat-Fin Coil
This video explains and demonstrates the difference between spine-fin coils and the standard flat-fin coils. The benefits of spine-fin coils vs flat-fin coils are also explained.
